Vergiss nicht, dass wir am 25.12.2020 Weihnachten feiern, haben wir den Kelten zu verdanken, d.h. den Schotten, den Iren, den Galliern und den Helvetier.oder auch Raurikern aus der Schweiz. Es war Taktik der Missionare, die kirchlichen Feiertage so zu legen, dass sie mit den Feiertagen unserer Väter zusammenfielen. Ausnahme: Palmsonntag, Karfreitag, Ostern und Pfingsten die von der Bibel vorgegeben sind.

Kommen wir zu den Ostern. Osten beginnt morgen Montag am morgen (hab ich doch schon gesagt, morgen) 11:02 Basler Zeit..

Sans Blague: Die letzten 20 Jahren gabs mehr weisse Ostern als Weihnachten. Am Dienstag rechnen wir mit 14°C. in Basel.

Am Sonntag erscheint ein Mann in der Notaufnahme des Kreiskrankenhauses.
“Um Himmelswillen, eben habe ich entdeckt, Herr Doktor, daß ich drei Eier habe”. Der Arzt sagt der Krankenschwester, sie solle doch mal einen Tastbefund machen. Please note that I'm in a loving long-term relationship. Although I'm always happy to make new friends.
I dressed occasionally in my teens and twenties before family life came along. I've now been dressing regularly for 10 years.
I do like to get out and about as much as I can with regular trips into Norwich (for shopping and eating out) as well as to local stately homes and the coast. A highlight of 2013 was spending 3 days at the Goodwood Revival. More recently, I've had regular trips into London.
My hobbies include cars, motorbikes and photography. My taste in music ranges from classic bands such as Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Led Zeppelin, through to modern bands like Kasabian and Muse, but my favourite genre is Northern European Metal bands - especially Finntroll, Nightwish and Therion.
I don't want to appear rude, but I'm much more likely to respond to someone where there's a picture of themselves on someone's profile. While I can enjoy tastefully risqué photos, I really don't want to look at profiles with nothing but close-ups of genitalia please.

Bitte beachtet, dassbevollen Langzeit-Beziehung bin. Obwohl ich immer glücklich bin, neue Freunde zu finden.
In meinen Teenager- und Zwanzigerjahren habe ich mich gelegentlich als Girl angezogen,, bevor das Familienleben Einzug hielt. Jetzt trage ich schon seit 10 Jahren regelmssig Kleider.
Ich mag es, so viel wie möglich unterwegs zu sein und fahre regelmäßig nach Norwich (zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen) sowie zu den örtlichen Herrenhäusern und an die Küste. Ein Höhepunkt des Jahres 2013 war ein dreitägiger Besuch des Goodwood Revival. In letzter Zeit habe ich regelmäßig Ausflüge nach London unternommen.
Zu meinen Hobbys gehören Autos, Motorräder und Fotografie. Hi Girls!
Thanks so much for your interest in my photos and me. I appreciate it, really. For those that don’t know, I am an over 39 T girl.
What’s in a name?
I have been asked how I chose the name “April” and number of times, and since I saw April’s namesake recently, here’s the poop…….
I grew up in Boston in a lower middle to middle class neighborhood. I had two distinct effects on girls--they either wouldn’t give me the time of day or become infatuated with me. I worked at a local market, and one day a girl who was 19 (I was 16) started flirting with me. Yes this was April, but I wasn’t interested. She would hang around the market any way, and one day she saw me flirting with a beautician who came in all the time. The beautician had big hair with lots of makeup, and this was not lost on April. Three days later she came in with a massive teased blond bouffant do, black eyeliner, blue eye shadow, and frosted pink lipstick. She wore a white blouse, black skirt, black stockings and Keds. While I didn’t like the Keds, the rest of the ensemble got me. She asked me if I might like to go for a ride after I got off work, and lo and behold our odd relationship started.
She would do anything I asked. I suggested some sling backs instead of the Keds and we went and bought them together. I told her I preferred stockings to pantyhose, and that was all she wore. She stopped smoking. We were shopping once and the girl behind the counter had bigger hair with barrel curls and more makeup than April, and she changed to a bigger bouffant with barrel curls and more makeup. We couldn’t really date as neither set of parents would approve, but we did spend a lot of time in the back seat of her brother’s car. Occasionally I would take my break in the restroom of the market I worked at and she would join me. On Christmas morning when I was supposed to be at Mass we were in her brother’s car.
This went on for almost a year. She was going to beauty school at the time and she started working. But I was going on to a prestigious university, and we began to drift apart. Finally she told me she wanted to move on, but for another year or so she would show up at my job about once a month, just for a quickie. I never did tell her it was the hair and makeup I was interested in, though I think she figured it out.
Here’s a few more things you might to know about me:
--There is no point in writing me to tell me that you would like to see me with my makeup toned down. I have received a lot of these notes recently, and honestly I think you are missing the point of me being April. I love makeup, and I wear as much as I possibly can. If I could figure out how to wear more, I would. And while I love what some of the 20 something’s do with makeup, my look is the one I like.
--I am not interested in men. There is nothing you can say or do to make me change my mind. There is nothing you can offer me, I probably have more money than you, and if I don’t have more money than you I still have enough to keep me happy. I have a special woman in my life and I am happy.
--There is no point in asking me to “feminize” you. I get a fair amount of these emails from horrible hairy men or anxious young people, but even if you were not horrible and hairy, I am not interested. I am not going to anyone’s “Drag Mother”. I figured it out like most of us gals, through trial and error.
--I do not have, nor will I ever have, pictures showing my genitals. I applaud the gals who show these, bravo. I am not a prude, and I do not pass judgment. I just don’t show them. Quite frankly it is a tiny little thingy anyway.
- -I am not on hormones, I am a bit overweight and my “cleavage” is extremely uncomfortable tape and makeup
--I cannot explain my interest in feminine hygiene products, diapers, catheters, and enemas. I had a happy childhood, was well adjusted, and had lots of friends, including a few girlfriends I should have married. I went to an Ivy League University. I have no idea why I like this stuff, I just do, and finding out why won’t change the way I feel. In fact except when I wear a diaper, I have never, ever been dressed without wearing a sanitary napkin.
--I will share where I get my nails if you Flickr mail me. I will send your request on to the person that does them and she will get back to you. She decides, not me.
--I am a terrible, unreliable correspondent. Flickr mail me or email me and I will get back to you at some point. But please don’t feel or slighted if I take a long time.
--I do not take criticism well. Put up a negative comment and I will block you. If you don’t like the pictures, just move on.
--I love sports, and I played ice hockey throughout college. I love our Red Sox, Patriots’, Celtic’s and the Stanley Cup Champion Bruins.
-I love, love, LOVE makeup, and some of the newer stuff, especially mineral eye shadow, is wonderful. My idea of a perfect quiet evening is to spend 3 hours doing my makeup, trying new things and new colors. Here are some of my favorites:
Lipstick
Lime Crime, Lancôme, YSL, and of course MAC. I have a 17 year old Chanel that is almost gone, the best pure red I ever had. Not sure where this fits in, but I also quite like OCC’s “Lip Tar”. In addition I have found a Sephora brand that I like, and one from, I think, Australia, call “Velour”.
Bargain Brand: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. My fav is “Cherries in the Snow”. It is about 100 years old!
Lip Liners
Estee lauder, hands down, and you get a lipstick brush on the opposite end. Also good are Clinique, Nars, MAC, OCC, and Makeup Forever.
Bargain Brand: Palladia
Lip Gloss
Lancôme, Christian Dior. Though I don’t often wear it.
Blush
Nars “Super Orgasm” (I am not making up that name), Lorac, Shu Emura.
Bargain Brand: “e.l.f.” available in Target stores. I have been using this a lot lately, and it is $3.00
Loose Powder
I used to like Lorac but they changed the formula I only use loose powder, and Mac’s is by far the best
Bargain Brand: none that I know of sorry.
Foundation
Those gals in the pink cars know what they are doing. I use Mary Kay full coverage. It comes in a tube and I use a sponge (I tried those brushes, I don’t love them.) You can find this on EBay inexpensively.
Bargain Brand: None, you can find this for $5.00 on EBay.
Eyeliner
I use cake eyeliner, and I love Mary Kay’s Black. (Those darn pink cars again) It is discontinued unfortunately. I stopped using MAC when they went to a gel. Krylon’s is good as well.
Eyebrow pencils
Don’t use em…..
Eye Shadow
I have gone almost exclusively to mineral brands, and this is the one area where at least in my opinion one does not need to spend top dollar. Lime Crime is great; Taylor Made Minerals has amazing colors, though they are going out of business; BFTE is good as well though they went out of business too; and Medusa though I think the colors are hard to see on their site. I like super vibrant, heavily pigmented colors. For regular eye shadow I like Makeup Forever and Nars.
Bargain Brand: Just search both EBay and Etsy and you’ll find the small containers for very little money. And those 3 gram jars last a long time too.
Eye Lashes
I get most from “E Eyelash” on line. I have many from Krylon, including their famous “Showgirl” lashes, but there is great new stuff available now. I also buy on EBay from those people who ship from China or Hang Kong, and I have never had an issue
Brushes
Sephora’s brand is my favorite, though MAC has the best eyebrow/eyeliner brush. I think Sephora’s are great value for the price (Though they are still expensive). Some free advice---get good brushes!
Bargain Brand: once again “e.l.f.”, especially for the smaller brushes.
Best Place to Buy Makeup
Sephora. Made for us part time girls when shopping en femme or in male mode. Leave plenty of time and bring lots of money. I LOVE it and very seldom get out for less than $100. Any MAC counter-they know us “girls” and have no issues selling to us, and they make good suggestions.
Bargains: All Cosmetics Wholesale (ACW) on line. I got some Dior lipstick recently for $6.00. It was an unused tester, but who cares? Note that although they sell brands like Mac and Nars, the price seem the same as department store. Check their sale pages first, and do sign up for emails.
Perfume
Lancôme’s Magic Noir is my favorite. (It reminds me of a gal I dated in my 20’s, long nails, high heels, great gobs of makeup and drenched in this perfume. My clothes would smell the next day!)
In closing….
When I read some gal’s profiles they are pretty stern. “Don’t send me this and don’t do that with my pictures”. At this point I have about a zillion pictures up, and they are online because I want people to look at them. I admit it, I enjoy the attention. So please, enjoy my pictures whoever you might be. Make me a contact, I don’t care if you have pictures or not. But please don’t send me any headless pictures of yourself, don’t describe what you do when you look at my pictures, just have fun with them.

Hiermit verabschiedet sich April für eine Weile von unserem 1920er-TGirl-Abreissblattkalender, wie auch ich in 8 Tagen. Ohne Eure Kündigung werdet Ihr 2021 weiterhin auch mit einem neuen Kalender bedient werden. Der Abo-Preis beträgt unverändert Null Franken, kein Rappen, der Umrechnungskurs, 1€/1 CHF.

Sie ist chic und elegant aber nicht aufgedonnert wie viele ihrer kolleginnen.
Aber ich finde man muss mit den ladies auch ein wenig nachsicht haben.
Denn sie geben sich wirklich mühe und auch jedes girl hat seine modischen "flegeljahre" und zudem ist es sicher auch eine art überforderung oder verwirrend in die vielfältige welt der damenmode einzutreten.

die Mädels auf den beiden Fotos sind absolut vorbildlich gekleidet.
So kenne ich das von meiner Schulzeit her.

Du hast mal wieder Recht. Das wird auf Grund deiner Feststellungen kein Samtrock sein.
(Obwohl ich persönlich gerne einen in diesem Stil hätte).
Aber wo findet man heute so etwas noch.

In der Tat ist die Damenmode sehr vielschichtig. Man kann es als Vorteil als auch als Nachteil auslegen.
Ich sehe das als Vorteil.

Nun gut, man steht stundenlang vor dem Kleiderschrank, und überlegt was man heute anziehen soll.
Bei jedem Outfit der Blick in den Spiegel, und dann geht die Prozedur von vorne los.

Dann hast du im Endeffekt ca. 10 Jahre deines Lebens vor dem Kleiderschrank verbracht.

Bei den Männern sieht das anders aus. Sie verbringen 15 Jahre ihres Lebens im Getränkefachgeschäft oder im Baumarkt.

Resümee: Ich verbringe lieber 10 Jahre meines Lebens vor dem Spiegel und vor dem Kleiderschrank.

HELP!!! I NEED SOME NEW IDEAS!!!
It seems like most of my photos are slight variations of only a couple of different poses. Perhaps it's getting a little boring? Do any of my followers/fans/admirers have any suggestions to help add some variety? Poses? Props? Settings? Should I try an outdoor shoot? Keep in mind that I have a simple point and shoot digital camera and I usually take the photos myself using my camera's timer and a tripod. I could get my girlfriend to help, though, if necessary.

Ich war immer erstaunt, wenn ich ein Flickr-Profil sah, das "1 Million Views" oder 2 Millionen oder was auch immer verkündete. Ich habe mir oft gedacht: "Wie kommen die zu so vielen Views?" Nun, ich bin gerade meinen Fotostream durchgegangen und es hat sich herausgestellt, dass ich über 4 Millionen Views habe. Wow! Ich hatte keine Ahnung. Ich fühle mich geschmeichelt und bescheiden und bin dankbar für alle, die meine Fotos angesehen haben. Ich danke Euch!

HILFE!!! ICH BRAUCHE EIN PAAR NEUE IDEEN!!!
Es scheint, als ob die meisten meiner Fotos leichte Variationen von nur ein paar verschiedenen Posen sind. Vielleicht wird es ein bisschen langweilig? Hat jemand von meinen Followern/Fans/Admirern irgendwelche Vorschläge, um etwas Abwechslung reinzubringen? Posen? Requisiten? Einstellungen? Sollte ich eine Aussenaufnahme versuchen? Bedenkt, dass ich eine einfache Kompakt-Digitalkamera habe und die Fotos normalerweise selbst mit dem Timer meiner Kamera und einem Stativ mache. Ich könnte aber meine Freundin dazu bringen, mir zu helfen, falls nötig,

Lieber Joggeli,

auf einigen Fotos ist Tiffany in einem Kilt abgebildet.
Bis auf die Tatsache dass der Kilt wohl bei der Wäsche eingelaufen ist, und somit in Kombination mit Nylons etwas zu kurz geraten ist, sieht das ganz gut aus.
Eine Strumpfhose wäre also eher angebracht.

Strumpfhosen überlasse ich Polly und Dir. EINE Strumpfhose ist eh hässlich, Was soll Tiffany mit einem Paar Strumpfhosen, bei denen ein Strumpf abgeschnitten wurde? Vermutlich weil der Dudenverlag allen Unsinn, dem die Nordlichter verfallen sind, aufnimmt wurde aus Hosen eine Hose oder aus weiblichen Gästen Gästinnen. Ich will mal schauen, was im Duden über Leggings steht, Ich würde mich nicht wundern, wenn dort "eine Legging" steht.
Pluralwort – einer Strumpfhose ohne Füßlinge ähnliches Kleidungsstück.
Tights, panty hose, hose, sind alles Pluralwörter, Hosen oder ein Paar Hosen, Miederhosen oder ein Paar Miederhosen, Strumpfhosen oder ein Paar Strumpfhosen eben auch.
Und wie ists mit Knickenbocker: Knickenbocker die Pluralwort. Da gehts, wiese gehts bei Hosen nicht auch?

Quintessenz. Wenn ich schon "Strumpfhosen" schreiben muss, was für mich ein Gräuel ist, dann wenigtens nicht Duden-, sondern Sprachlogiktreu.

Szenenwechsel: Es ist Zeit, die noch fehlenden Kalenderabreissblätter unter die Leute zu bringen.

Diese Bilder sind von Raffia T. Es ist ein Remake derjenigen Bilder, mit den schon im verschollenen Forum «langestruempfe01» veröffentlicht wurden, Zusätzlich kamen aber auch viele neue Aufnahmen hinzu.

Die Chinesin Raffia wird uns noch ein paar Tage begleiten
